HVAC Service Technician Job Summary

  • Ensure safe operation of all HVAC equipment.  Manufactures include all of the major brands.  Lennox, Trane, Bryant, Rheem and all others.
  • Service, repair and or propose replacement of air conditioners, duct distribution systems, and electrical controls.
  • Perform planned and preventative maintenance’s thoroughly and professionally.
  • Assist the consumer in making a buying decision related to the HVAC repairs and accessories.
  • Be able to troubleshoot, service and startup equipment.  Perform system startups per manufactures recommendations.
  • Be able to troubleshoot, adapt, and resolve/repair all issues that arise that would keep the equipment from functioning properly.
  • Communicate to the consumer on the proper operation and owner’s maintenance of the installed equipment. Answer related questions as to operation, features, and functions to the homeowner.
  • Perform required documentation for each call, recording recommendations, repairs, accurate readings and observations. Have client sign necessary paper work and collect payments as directed.

HVAC Installation Technician Job Summary

  • Replace, modify, and or install air conditioners, duct distribution systems, and refrigerant related piping and electrical to meet or exceed the manufacturer’s recommendations and local codes.
  • Be able to startup installed equipment, and adjust to the manufacturers and job specification.
  • Be able to troubleshoot, adapt, and resolve/repair all issues that arise during an installation that would keep the equipment from functioning properly.
  • Communicate to the consumer on the proper operation and owner’s maintenance of the installed equipment. Answer related questions as to operation, features, and functions to the homeowner.
  • Perform required documentation for each installation with a complete startup record. Have client sign necessary paper work and collect payments as directed.
